One-Off Sitters

"Babysitter" means all child carers. "Parent" means the biological, adoptive or foster parent of a child.

Babysitters must be 18 years and over and legally able to work in Australia. Parents must pay the nominated fees before attending an event. All prices are in Australian currency (AUD) and include goods and services tax (GST).

Speed Babysitting puts all Sitters through a screening process, however we do not give any warranty concerning the character of the Sitters introduced. It is the responsibility of the client to accept and approve the suitability of Sitters. If the client has any concerns regarding the suitability of the Sitter they should contact Speed Babysitting immediately.

All our One Off Sitters have a Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate and have been personally interviewed and background checked by Speed Babysitting.

The booking fee of $21.00 is to be paid upfront and non refundable.

Cancellation of a booking within 12hrs of the babysitting session, requires the client to pay a cancellation fee of an amount equivalent to the minimum 3 hour booking. Minimum booking time is 3 hours.  All Sitters will be paid for a minimum of 3 hours regardless of session length.

Speed Babysitting is not responsible for any insurance cover over registered babysitters, but we suggest babysitters consider taking out Public and Products Liability as an in-home babysitter.
